November 2005

Lots of wind, and some snow !
Saw dolphins out surfing the Perran waves, doing flips .....

	Heading down to the snow covered beach.
	The first pawprints on these steps down to the beach. Pebbles went mad, running around, pouncing on the snow, chasing snow balls, barking at snow men ....
	All of the roads out of Perranporth are on hills so people were stuck. Nicky and Sarah thus ended up staying.

	Lots of wind and BIG waves. You can just make out my helmet and the trace I've made coming down the wave.
	I was managing to do jumps 15 to 20 feet above the wave tops, that were 10 foot high themselves :-)
	And nailing most of my backloops :-)
	Pebbles is still swiming out through some big waves
	But she seems to dry off fast, with her self spin shakes
	And she's getting good at collecting the board for me !

More visitors (Paul Brannan + 12 other kite surfers !).
Paul made it 3 weekends in a row !
middle trip with Sarah, we went climbing, 150ft two pitch @ Bosigran and then 200ft 3 pitch at Chair Ladder.

	Kite surfing weekend with Jamie & Paul 1st @ Marazion, then too windy in Cornwall so drove to Chisel beach in Dorset.

	After Paul's kite blew up we took turns riding the smallest kite left (Rory's Lift 9m)
	Moved on to Chisel Beach to get less wind than in Cornwall. Nice spot except for the huge shore dump. These waves are 8 foot high and breaking vertically onto the beach. Only Jamie didn't get munched at least once.
	Had to make sure Pebbles didn't swim in this sea ! The dot, back left is Paul doing a jump, with his kite out the top of the picture.
	Was my first good session out on the new Sonic. Once I got used to it, superb. Lots of big jumps etc. but all in the distance like the above one of Paul. (honest!)

	Pebbles tries to sneak up on some rabbits (no chance) She might look the part, but if she has to stalk rabbits to get her own food, she's going to get very thin !

	Full moon gave great early morning MoonSet's, with the opposite side sunrise giving the sky reds. Full moon means big tides so the beach fishermen were out.

A couple of BBQ's at home and one on the beach where the local parachutists landed on the beach after their tricks!

July 2005

First full month.
School holidays start, so the beach fills up.

	High high tide, so visible from the house. Normal tides don't make it up this far. The building on the beach is the pub.

OK, Pebbles attacks a bone from the butcher. Life in Perranporth is terrible for Pebbles.
